First Voice: An ELT Undergraduate Review now has a home.

This site exists for one reason: to give the writing of our students a place to be read.

Every year, students in the ELT program write about questions that matter to the field: how languages are taught, what classrooms should look like, what teachers owe their learners. They write as teacher candidates, and their thinking is worth reading.

Over the coming weeks, the first papers will appear here. They were written by first-year students, revised over a semester through peer feedback and instructor comments, and chosen because they argue something clearly. If you are a student in the program, the work on these pages was written by people sitting in the same classrooms as you, at the same point in their studies. That is the whole idea.
